when enough time has passed in one’s life, it seems natural to, in a panic, try to claw some of it back

drift is a work of impending something, a march towards an inevitability which constantly seems just out of frame. Dealing with notions of lost time, second chances, and struggle, drift relentlessly and chaotically progresses towards a series of anticonclusions, dancing past catharsis while grappling with themes of purpose, precarity, and control.
